Welcome to my catalog of wood block prints. After a career in information technology & information security, I retired in 2015 and moved to the west coast of Canada . While in BC, my wife and I started a small business making artisan soap, shampoo and other bath and skin care products. I also did a lot of woodworking including wood turning, making bowls, candlesticks and other items for the home. I had started learning mokuhanga on the west coast but did not have sufficient time. We then moved back to Ontario in 2024 where I started exploring the method in detail.

One of the caboose cars is from the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo Railway which was based in Hamilton, Ontario from 1892 to 1987. When were young and crazy we would walk along the train tracks on hikes and would see these regularly.

Printing materials: 65 GSM Kosuke washi and Speedball Professional Relief Ink.
Edition: 30 BW, 30 Colour.

Baby Deer - Pender Island, BC. Shortly after we moved to Pender Island, a female deer came to see us regularly, In the following years, she would bring her babies. We saw this one grow into a large buck and was always friendly.
